Un tuffo dove l’acqua e’ piu’ blu: San Fruttuoso, Italy
The Abbey of San Fruttuoso is placed at the hearth of Portofino Natural Park. Here we are approaching it by swimming in San Fruttuoso bay.
The Abbey was built by Greek monks in the 10th century and is still active nowadays.

I love the top image, especially how the dome’s rigid structure contrasts with forest and the opaque foreground. If you look closely, it is as if two images were folded into one. Nice!
Cheers

Thanks Jim, this picture was shot while swimming towards the place. I was trying to have a half sub water half above water shot… without success 🙂 but I liked its point of view.
Looks lovely!
