Taminaschlucht (Tamina gorge): a 15,000 year old walk
West of the Swiss town of Bad Ragaz, the Tamina river carved its 70-meter deep gorge.
After a 4 km long walk the gorge is reached
At its bottom, thermal water (36.5 °C) flows at a rate of 10,000,000 liters per day
The times Dr. Paracelsus cured his patients with week-long bathing into this river are over, still walking this path is a gorgeous experience. Pictures shot in the dark gorge with D800 plus 16-35 mm f/4
Beautiful, would love to go there. M 🙂
Open from April to October 🙂
