Taminaschlucht (Tamina gorge): a 15,000 year old walk
West of the Swiss town of Bad Ragaz, the Tamina river carved its 70-meter deep gorge.
After a 4 km long walk the gorge is reached
At its bottom, thermal water (36.5 °C) flows at a rate of 10,000,000 liters per day
The times Dr. Paracelsus cured his patients with week-long bathing into this river are over, still walking this path is a gorgeous experience. Pictures shot in the dark gorge with D800 plus 16-35 mm f/4

One day at the shores of the Limmat river…

… and go! The 51th swim through Zurich started!
Professionals completed the 2 km track in 12 minutes…
… despite sharks …
… and dark tunnels…
.. the turtles brought even us to the end … in just one hour …
