Schanzegraben walkthrough

We previously had a quick look at Schanzegraben…did we miss anything behind?

Schanzegraben peculiar zigzag line follows the former ramparts through the city .

Clean and calm waters allow for a variety of sports like Kanu polo.

In the past, Schanzengraben was an unattractive factory canal: nowadays it harbors boats with access to lake Zurich

Venice or Schanzegraben?

And finally out of the canal to see the lake again, through a under-bridge passage placed below the lake level.

Wrong flight?

A last check at the departures …

… and here are the planes ready to fly us to …

… or are these ones?

Hard to image a flight on those up there …

Now they are landing, leaving the airspace free …

… to the right one! Not all Swiss-flagged flights are Swiss. Patrouille Suisse made the air show!  Pictures shot at the 70 years celebration of Zurich Airport. Click to enlarge and see the pilot smile.
