The queen
Once more I walked down to the village from the high pastures
They adorned my head with flowers and pine trees for the parade
Thrill is in the air, everybody is positioned, the show can start!
Folklore music first.
I am so eagerly waiting for the response …
Who will be the lucky one chosen as Queen of the Cows 2017 ?

The smell of pumpkins and chestnuts
While driving through the countryside between Burgdorf and Affoltern in Emmental …
… the full Bernese Oberland panorama unfolded in front of us.
Jungfrau, Eiger and Mönch and a handful of more than 3,000 meter-high peaks.
Enjoy the Bernese farmland crowned with its world famous mountains
and spotted with forests and towns.
Click each picture to enlarge and feel the smell of pumpkins and chestnuts!
Pictures and panorama shot with D800 + 70-200 mm f/2.8 and assembled with Hugin.

Swiss flatlands: the unexpected
Crowned with the Bernese Alps still white of snow, the central plain greens in early Spring
Tracks
and sticks
and tracks
and pits. Click each to enlarge!
