A very nice series. The nearly total lack of humans in your images creates a feeling of isolation and loneliness.
Thank you! It was the typical tram-stop loneliness 😀 while everybody else was already downtown at Christmas markets. At least I had my camera with!
You’re welcome. It is good you had your camera with you. You just never know.
However, the D800 with a 50 mm is easily above 3 Kg and it is a pity I cannot have it always with me. I looked around for more portable cameras but I trust no one being better than a heavy reflex. Do you have maybe a difference experience and something to suggest as light replacement? Thanks!
Personally I’m dragging around a a DSLR. Many of my friends are purchasing the mirrorless cameras from Fugie and Sony. They report good results. For me the cost of an entirety new system is prohibitive.
