Steam it up … hill!

_DSC4170 _DSC4190

If you pass by Brienz (CH), do not miss the steam cog-wheel train up to the Brienzer Rothorn

_DSC4279 _DSC4446

Spitting and coughing, the steam railway will bring you up just in front of the Bernese Alps

_DSC4282 _DSC4309

Up there at 2,244 m.s.l., give a look down to the emerald green lake Brienz

Click on the panorama above to have the full view: a far away view until the Mythen on the left, the Brienzer Rothorn in the middle, Lake Brienz and Bernese Alps on the right.

Great pics! the last panoramic is my favorite. Looks a lot like The Rockies in western Canada!

You can say it because I did not see Western Canada 🙂 let’s do like this: come to Switzerland and I show you the Swiss Alps 🙂

Haha, too funny. Sounds like a plan some day.
