Do plants see us? What do they perceive of the colourful world we know? Lorenzo Borghi, scientist and photographer, filters out every light but near infra-red, thus to capture the point of view of plants. A black and white world where plants easily move looking for their primary source of energy: light.
So people say: toads heralds a successful time of drawing upon and using our inner resources.
Toads are associated with money and luck – especially changing your luck from bad to good.
People with a Toad totem can see things and people more clearly.
… wow! In the meantime, I shoot a few pictures to my random toad (Bufo bufo) that was probably escaping these cold spring nights … and, no, toads do not eat bananas but look very interested in the black spots…

If you missed the very hot Carnival of Liestal 2014, the Kienbesenzug, mind the date for next 2015! In the meantime, enjoy it through my pictures. I am glad my D800 survived the heat-waves as charriots of fire approached: my eye-lashes didn’t ! Bone-fires and torch-light, pulled through the streets of the lovely town of Liestal: enjoy the show!
