The bay of silence
The bay of silence opens on the east side of Sestri Levante (Italy). Its name fits (only) early mornings or off season times. The colorful Segesta (Sestri Levante, Latin name) and its beach behind, the blue Ligurian sea in front : an unforgettable bath.

A channeled path
Down Gessner bridge, aside Zurich main station, starts a channeled path that connects the Sihl river with lake Zurich: the Schanzengraben.
Formerly a military defense complex, today the Schanzengraben offers outdoor pools and night entertainment in the center of Zurich.
Walks by the canal are possible over wooden footbridges and sandstone slabs.
Among the hot spots along the canal, the bulwark “Zur Katz” with the Old Botanical Garden
The promenade finally leads to the lake outlet at Bürkliplatz… did we miss anything behind?
