“Past-industrial” age
Post industrial is today’s past.
Colorful textiles were produced for several decades in Canton Glarus (CH).
Hydroelectric power from flyover canals ran the industry.
The factory weir regulated the water flow…
and the Escher-Wyss turbines powered the looms.
Today looms and workers are no more.
The production arrested…
and the factory future became its past..

Kandersteg: cross-plateau skiing
Kandersteg is a tiny town on the Bernese mountains at approx. 1,200 m.s.l, famous for the amounts of peaks around its plateau and cross country skiing.
